On Monday, My wife also took my 13 yr dachshund(full size not mini) into the vet since he has unexplained weight loss and started to not act normal. The vet calls back and highlights cancer and to think about euthanasia. (This is over simplified for typing and medical knowledge sake) Well he's still around and after talking to my wife and perhaps going over the blood work and tests that its more likely a GI tract infection. So we are treating for that. $400, 4 days, and many counted tick marks of syringe watering he's about 50% which is a huge improvement. I'm no longer thinking this is gona be our last weekend together.

Her child looks evil. Seriously. Plus he is pinching and squeezing the gerbil's abdomen! Dear God! you're never supposed to do that.Tiny creatures have tiny delicate organs but let's not let animal cruelty get in the way of entertainment.
The gerbil is in shock btw. It's natural instinct like any animal is to right itself. At 2:51 you can clearly see how the kid is manipulating the poor animal - he's digging his pinky finger into the testicle area and releasing it only when the "magic words" are said.
And then he's holding it out without any regard for it's safety should it fall. But hey Mom is proud of her farked up kid so that makes it okay if an innocent animal is paralyzed or killed. She's talks about the gerbil vibrating. It's called a seizure and is related to shock. They do not purr!
Oh look the gerbil responds if I whisper. How cute. Yeah because everyone knows rodents have the worst hearing in the world - a miracle if they could hear a fire alarm a foot away. There is no hope for the world. None.
