If you only plan on doing light duty work then this might not matter to you, but having the fast charger is a huge game changer for sustained work. For example when leaf blowing in the fall or weed eating in the early summer I am able to work all day long with just 2 5Ah batteries and when one dies the other is almost always fully charged.
