I think more for hard core runners. The energy return on these things are incredible. Seems 80% of high school Xcountry and track runners either train in these or the Novablasts.

This is a great price and in for 2.

Wouldn't mind the colors but would feel weird with the actual MSU stuff on it. Good though if your morals allow.

I run a lot (75 miles a week or so) and I end up going through shoes quickly. I think my favorite running shoe is still the Novablast 5 atm but I tend to have to replace them after 400 to 500 miles (which is pretty good honestly) but the evo sl shoes are a close 2nd but my current pair that I need to replace I'm at 800 miles with and while the tread is pealing off and getting scuffed up, the foam is holding up fairly well so I'll pick up another pair I think.

Edit : Dang, only size 4 available >_< Oh well. Guess I'll keep looking for a good deal on these.

Wow 800 miles on the EVO SL is wild. I was ready to retire my pair at 400 but maybe I'll keep going

I've also never gone over 500 miles on mine. But these have been my fav for any runs since they were introduced. Don't care if they have college branding. This is a great deal.

I should have replaced them at about 600 or so but I am spending too much on shoes so I need to stretch them out longer. A lot of prior shoes I tried when they went bad they felt like running on a flat tire and I had to change them out. The foam is still mostly okay even now but the traction is definitely gone. I def need new ones though.

I've been watching for deals on this shoe, it rarely goes to below $90. So I'm in for one.

update: I chose ship to store to not get charged for shipping or needing to meet an order minimum for shipping. The order was accepted yesterday, thought I was getting 69.99 + tax / no other fees. Then I get an email today saying my order was cancelled with no explanation. =/
Emailing them to see if they will tell me why.

This shoe is fantastic. If you are on the fence, go for it.
In case you can't stomach the branding or it's oos for your size, cheer up. It periodically comes on sale for around this price. I got two pairs early June from Adidas thru ebay for 75 and 81.
