Your signing up for expensive batteries $220 to $300 for each battery 5ah
The included battery lasts 8 or 9 minutes on high. You really need it on high to blow side walk ok blower but will not blow small leaves or wet leaves
It would be nice to have lock switch works as good as milwakie but after charging takes 30 minutes to charge milwakie takes hour you need 2 batteries you can buy battery copies $100 on Amazon or eBay but I have not tried them

I have this kit. Works well and does what I need it to do and after doing yard work on a .15 acre I
Have 5/6 bars remaining.

Though I wish I went with the multi head system as now I need an edger.

About 3 weeks ago Ace Hardware had a similar deal, It was the EGO POWER + ST1511LB 15 in. 56 V Battery Blower/Trimmer Kit with a FREE additional EGO 56V Power + BA1400T 2.5 Ah battery for $289 +tax. I picked it up and I'd say that the trimmer and blower work great so far.

The blower is rated more powerful CFM, and I bet is better than the Ego's baseline blower which hasn't improved in 10 years. Ego runs out in like 8-10 minutes on turbo, and not much longer on high. The weedwacker probably goes to Ego as their reloading system works great. I wish the Ego batteries would last longer than 5 years for what we pay for them. They're basically shot at the 5-year mark for me.

The price is good for what you get, but it just really isn't a cohesive kit. A 2.5Ah battery is good for the trimmer, but by the time you get done weedeating and want to blow off the driveway the battery will likely be nearly dead so you will only get 1 or 2 minutes to blow. You really need a 2.5Ah for eat bare minimum, ideally a 4 or 5Ah for the blower. I have a mid range Ego blower (650CFM) and a trimmer. I use a 2.5Ah for my trimmer and a 4Ah for my blower. I also have a knockoff 4Ah that I use if I happen to run out of both other batteries. Ego tools are great. I just really wish they could get their battery prices down and make them lighter.
