A fair price. I bought them when first listed on Costco at $40. The upper is more of a mesh and soft, but nice. Overall I found them to be a bit snug compared to my many other pairs of Slip Ins. Not that I'm recommending a 1/2 size up.

do they hold up? I walk my dog an hour every day and I can't seem to find a shoe that will last me six months

I used to like Sketcher slip-in's a lot but found the quality of material has gone down so drastically, the sole would only last 2-3 weeks before much of traction gone. Being heavier I understand I wear out shoes quicker but even Walmart knockoff foam Crocs use more wearable material.

I picked these up at Costco about a week ago and they are very comfortable shoes. Love casual walking/standing in these, and that's not typical for me lately since my knees have been giving me some real issues. I can put them on standing up which was a nice surprise! True to size, if a smidge "roomy". I'm glad I got a pair.

That was my thought. I bought a pair of Skechers from Costco for everyday light walking last year. They were soft and comfortable but the sole wore out quickly, slightly more than 6 months. I am not very heavy and the results made me to have 2nd thought.

They are fine to wear to the grocery store. I like the brand, but not at this price/tier. Tried them on and was certain my feet woud hurt withi 30-40 minutes.

Agree, tried them at my local store, decided not to get. I think these are just made for Costco!!

The Skechers shoes at their stores are totally different & much better as far as comfort/fit/padding.
But they also cost 2-3 times more.

These are a budget version of the slip-in's that Sketchers make. From what I have heard there is a distinctly lower quality (hence why they only use a vaguely similar name for the style).

I wear a very similar type Sketcher shoe from Amazon. They are comfortable but very cheaply made. You'll be lucky to get 6 months out of them before they are noticeably degrading. Good for a casual dressed office job though.

The comments imply that these Costco versions are a lower quality than regular skechers and I suspect that may be true. I bought a pair of slip-ins on sale from Macy's and they are at over a year of regular abuse (they are barn shoes for me) and are still holding up well. I have been very happy with them.

It's not that they're different than other lower end sketchers, but they are lower end sketchers. The more expensive sketchers have a harder sole under the foam so the bottom of the shoe takes longer to wear. These just have the foam sole. I get over a year out of the skechers with the better soles. But I just like 6-8 months out of the ones that have the straight foam sole like these. I do wear these 7 days a week and have a job that's a decent amount of walking around.

I have been a fan of Sketchers for over 10 years. I have trail shoes and casual shoes...the heft, build and price varied by the stated purpose of the shoe...heavy duty for hiking and lighter for relaxed casual. And their pricing varies as well...regular pricing typically $75-$150.

4 years ago I bought a pair of lighter duty slip-ins directly from Sketchers that were on sale for $45. They held up reasonably well for regular casual wear for several years and now they are my yard shoes. These Swift Fit sneakers at Costco are very similar in build and fit...but at a much more reasonable price of $32 (in store)...so I purchased two pairs...black and brown.
