Actually pretty nice little speaker. Sounds good, solid battery. When used as computer speaker sometimes there's a lag, but sometimes not.

This is a great value speaker but this used to be regular price, with it falling to $20 during sales.

I've had mine for about two years and use it regularly at the shop, does the job but nothing great. I also paid $20 but you know!

Customer service from anker has always been great for me.. first speaker of the very similar earlier model of this failed within the 18 month warranty and anker didn't give me any difficulties far as the replacement (admittedly this was back in 2021 so not sure if customer service is still the same?).. replacement speaker arrived January 2021 and four and a half years later is still working despite being on literally 24 hours a day 7 days a week (why? Long story
[IMG]https://static.slickdealscdn.com/images/smilies/smile.gif[/IMG] ) ... as one might expect the battery is not quite as strong as it used to be and needs to be recharged more often say every 3 days or so and charging will take .. maybe 6 hours? (again not bad given what I mentioned above). Far as the replacement anker did ask for the "problem speaker" to be mailed back but gave me a prepaid shipping label and shipped the replacement for free.

Having said that as others have noted I snagged my own for $20 waaaay back in December 2020 so it's believable that the newer version here drops to $20 too .. maybe set a camelcamelcamel price watch or look for this again black friday or december sales?

Have had the Soundcore original and 2 in various use cases for 4+ years now, great little speakers sound better than the damned JBL I paid 200 for (not as loud, but sound quality is better).

Worth it at 30, hasn't been lower than 28 in years, so holding out for 20 is prolly not happening.

Unfortunately this model is pretty old - BT 5.0. it will get cheaper eventually, or they will continue sitting in Amazon warehouse inventory. Lol

The real slick deal was the Anker Soundcore Select 4 Go with modern BT 5.4 for $10 on Prime Day. That tiny speaker sounds almost as good as my old $100 Bose speaker. It will likely be available again if Amazon repeats Prime Day in October like they did last year.

Sells 10+ thousand a month every month without a drop going back to June of 2024. Nobody else seems to care really.

Not saying you are wrong about it being old, I mean I was saying I have had mine for 4 or 5 years lol. Just that doesn't seem to deter anyone on buying.

I'm really not sure what these people are talking about. The Soundcore 2 has never been posted to Slickdeals any cheaper than $24, and that was refurbished. The Soundcore (no 2) has dropped to $20, but not the Soundcore 2. Unless they are talking about finding it listed from eBay or some other roll the dice site. And even if I am wrong and they did happen to snag this for a steal, it still isn't likely to happen again anytime soon. Anker is an established name now and with SC2 never being posted here cheaper than $27, I think that you would be waiting a very long time before you would get a price alert.

To be honest, it simply doesn't compare to JBL; JBL is more expensive, but Anker is merely worth its price—nothing more.
