The 4TB 990 EVO Plus stands out as a very fast, cool running NVMe for big storage upgrades, gaming, and everyday use. It is described as a strong fit for thin laptops and external enclosures, and HMB based performance is said to be close to DRAM drives for normal workloads while using less power and heat. The main caveat is that it lacks onboard DRAM, so sustained writes and PS5 use may not be ideal. The deal price also drew attention because 4TB SSD pricing has been far higher lately, making this feel like a rare capacity play.

I received mine. Production date of June 2025. Anyone know how to verify if it's legit drive or a fake other than installing it and running a suite of tests?
June 2025! In this market?

It's like Amazon found 6 pallets of these drives which they may have forgotten about and just now released them to the public.

These already in FBM!
Ya, look at this d-bag. This is why when something is a decent price people can't just be normal and let others get in on the deal. Everyone has to be a capitalist at the earliest opportunity.

Let me guess, you agree with scalping? Er, sorry, "flipping" or "reselling" as some would call it.

These things are all over Facebook Marketplace now. Too bad I don't need it bad enough to pay $450 - $500 for one. Otherwise $500 seems a good price compared to retail.

It would have been nice to have been able to get in on this deal, but it did feel like that discovery of lost pallets. It would have been nice to upgrade a notebook or two. Grats to everyone who purchased one for use.

No proof it was not an error. It was well below market prices. My guess is they were old stock with old cost and added to system at old pricing. Most managers would have likely charged closer to market rates.

I got the makeup. Back of the bubble-wrapped package has a sticker that says Samsung 990 EVO Plus SSD 4TB. Other side said Black Radiance True Complexion makeup. Amazon said they'd send a replacement in a little over a week. Without the comments here, I wouldn't have known to video myself opening the box (although, all Amazon wanted were photos). Crazy!

Just picked up a 4TB 990 Pro at bestbuy two days ago on 'Clearance' for $550 instead of the $1,099 list price (and what Samsung is selling it for). Would have grabbed this instead in a heartbeat if I had seen the deal when live! And to think I was ecstatic about a $550 4TB 990 Pro until this moment lol. Thanks, Slickdeals!
