Any take on Greenworks zero turn mowers? I have been in the market for a battery zero turn and was considering Ryobi or Ego Power but could not justify paying full price which is about double the cost of this. The other option would be to wait for a sale or clearance and then it's extremely YMMV with availability.

I'm moving from an HOA to a house and will need a riding mower. Considering an electric one but I'm not opposed to a gas one. I can breakdown and rebuild v-twin motors. So an electric one would be interesting for me.

Can't speak to the riding, but I've had my Greenworks 60v push mower for 7 years and absolutely love it. I've had one battery go bad, but that's the extent of issues. I love how quiet it is and that all I have to do is pull the mower out of the garage, pop in the battery, and push a button.
Waiting for the day when these are robot lawn mowers that are this big. Have an Anthbot but only cuts 8" at a time. Takes forever. Also need something to chase the raccoons away. Have a family of 6 that visit almost every day just before sunrise. Want to put it on patrol mode and turn it loose....lol

Reposting my comment from another thread:
Just bought this off the last deal from Walmart.com and it's been awesome. It did come with 6 batteries. I use it on the slowest speed with the highest blade speed to mulch and it had no problems at all. It's nice you can pull out the batteries if you want/need to or use the included charger to plug it in like an EV to charge them all at once. I have pretty decent size residential lawn in my suburb neighborhood and can get a least 4 mows before the battery needs a recharge. It does take hours to fully charge but it's so easy to do I don't see that being a problem unless you have a massive lawn that you can't complete on 1 charge or you are just forgetful and wait until right before to charge up. If you haven't had a 0-turn, it's not great on slopes or hills. Still doable with the practice, but not ideal if that is a majority of your lawn, imo.

This is end of season clearance price. Been this price for years anywhere from July - August at several retailers. This is good but missing 2 batteries to max capability and they are very expensive individually (the 8ah). I have this, doesn't bog down and does my acre (with 6 x 8ah) with 50% left at lowest.

At least for me, I'm never going back to gas.
