That's incorrect, I have this TV and it has 2 HDMI 2.1 ports and 2 HDMI 2.0 ports. I'm able to pull 4k 144hz no problem.

Hisense U6 Pro is a bright-room focused mini LED TV with strong value at these prices, especially for the 55 and 65 inch sizes. The picture is praised as bright, with good HDR support, and the 55 inch has even been used as a home office monitor. Costco pricing and warranty details also make the line look competitive, with some versions including a three year or five year warranty. Caveats include weaker reflection handling and concerns about HDMI and audio passthrough behavior.

Costco has their version of this (U65) 65" for $599.99 and 75" $749.99. Both come with a 3 year Allstate warranty.

I've been very happy with my U7 (one step up). Great picture for the price. It looks like U7s are also on sale at best Buy ($650 for 55" and $999 for 65"). Might be worth the look for the 55", I wouldn't pay that much extra though to go from the U6 to U7 at 65".

I think both are at Costco but the qm6k is no longer on sale? This model seemed to be brighter but had worse reflection handling was the main thing I remember in comparison
The u6 is recommended by rtings in this price range for bright TVs and the qm7k in the price range above. The qm6k is $700 at Costco. I think the qm6k is slightly better if you don't need bright room performance but u6 (pro is even better) is better for bright room. Recently got the Costco deal after research

At this price why not buy Samsung? Any strong reason to go with a Chinese brand? Please share
Pretty much all Samsung TVs don't have Dolby vision the last i checked. Hisense has better OS, nits, and usually refresh rate.

They don't - they do HDR10+ instead (I believe their own format)

How does this compare to tcl qm6k pro at costco
There's a direct comparison on YouTube. That guy absolutely loves this TV, but it did look better for the most part from what I saw.

Do you know anything about TVs? It sure doesn't sound like it.....Please enlighten us on how this is "trash". I'd love to know all the non trash TVs with 144Hz refresh rate for $600.
Rtings.com, a very reliable rating company, says this is a minimal TV and rates TCL as having a better quality TV for this size. I am a Hisense fan, and I wouldn't touch this TV with a 10 ft pole. If it was under $500 for a 65", then I would consider it!

Just curious. I only watch videos and moves (Youtube, Netflix, Prime, ...) I do not game. Do you think 144Hz is good for movies? or should I stick to 60Hz? TIA

I know this is for the pro version but My local Best Buy has a 55u6sf open box excellent for $385. Seems like a good deal for a 144 hz tv. Any reason not to do that? It would be replacing an 8 year old tcl Roku 60 hz tv that is primarily used for computer and Xbox series X.

Never buy an open box TV. It's a panel lottery buying new TVs and it was most likely returned due to something wrong with the panel.
