Exactly this. Everything private equity buys gets wrecked. Prices go up and value goes down. They squeeze every dollar they can out of the company and then sell it.

As a Native Texan, who also worked at WB in HS. Almost two decades ago. The company and brand aren't the same. The quality is terrible now. Especially, after the families kids sold off their majority shares to PE. Now you really can only find value from coupons, with Whataburger. I'd rather just get in-n-out now, which is crazy to say. In n outs burgers got smaller, price went up and fries are still trash.

Better than mcds and bk. Personally after trying sonic, Steak 'n Shake, Culver's, Jack in the box, what a burger, I now know mcds and bk is the most boring and plain fast food places around
