Ryobi ONE+ HP 18V batteries are valued for the extra punch and runtime that the 6.0 Ah packs bring, especially on higher draw tools like leaf blowers, saws, and weed wackers. The 3 prong design is called out as important for tools that need the extra power, while the included 4.0 Ah battery still fits lighter drills and hand tools. The main tradeoff is that some prefer spreading capacity across more batteries instead of fewer large ones, especially after recent battery failures. Military and Exchange buyers can also land a lower total around $143.10 with no tax.

6ah batteries are the go to. Glad to see a sale that has 2 of them and not a bunch of 2ah/4ah instead.

I guess I am returning the (2) 4ah and 2ah I just ordered. Thanks OP!
I'm asking myself the same thing. Get this deal for $159 or keep the $179 deal 4X 4Ah + 1X 2Ah + charger. I've had several batteries go bad in the last 6 months so I'm a little gun shy of putting all my Ah's in fewer batteries. EDIT: added screenshot

For active duty military and vets, if you buy this through the Home Depot portal through shopmyexchange.com, it's quite a bit cheaper at $143.10 and no tax. Same free shipping.

If you're military or retired military, go through the Home Depot link on Exchange website and get 10% off with no tax. Comes to $143.10.

There are several youtube videos that describe doing this. I tried several methods (short of actually replacing the bad 18650 cells) but have had no luck so far. I have a few on my desk waiting to try and fix.

Given how this order is broken up, could you return two of the 4ah and retain the 2x4ah + 1xah +charger for $78. I'd prefer that deal.
