Not bad if you care about brand name but you can get the generic brands for as low as $40 lately with similar reviews.

I've tried this one, and several and honestly... the whole setup (for all of these) is so clunky. The HDMI wires, the power, they're all very thick. It gets finicky and messy fast. As a software engineer who is always on-the-go, I thought this would be a game changer. But after using them for a month, it's all been collecting dust.

Until they have something that is one (or zero) cables and works as an extended display, I don't think I would go back to these sort of setups.

I hear the iPad can double as an extended display wirelessly for macs, but I haven't tried it. That's the kind of setup that would work since you'd carry a tablet around anyway, IMHO

Ive always been curious on what the actual point of these are? What is the market on them? The idea of using these for "gaming" seems like a hassle, then if its for work youre probably already using a laptop or tablet this size if not bigger already

I use them to plug into raspberry pi's or other robotic projects and things where I just want a temporary display to configure stuff and it's otherwise headless.

Largest 13" iPad is $1,000... This is 15.6" screen that weighs less Than iPad.
