Double vision can be alleviated somewhat by training your eyes about distance.
I paid around the same price from Ebay a few months ago and they arrived brand new and sealed.
They're pretty neat, but work best with my ROG ally or retroid pocket. Anything that requires touch screen navigation is somewhat annoying to use.
Screen brightness is nuts, never had to use max brightness. Have used them on the back porch in daylight and still usable even without the the background tint on.
They're neat, but a couple of issues with this model: these do not have the tilting arms, so getting the picture justtt right can be annoying sometimes and require tilting the glasses around. Also, the edges are basically always blurry. It seems like if I could get the glasses closer to my face it would fix these issues, but my eyelashes are already rubbing with how close they sit. I can't seem to get the dipoter to the setting I need. Seems like one of my eyes might be just beyond the threshold of the adjustment. My eyes eventually adjust, but it's kinda funky for a bit.
Overall worth it for me for use during plane rides at this price, but I don't find them useful in most other scenarios. Just be aware that these only kinda look like glasses while wearing them. If you're self conscious, be aware you're gonna kinda look like a dork.

For example, you mention "these are mid 2024 glasses." What earth shattering technology has VITURE released to eclipse these in the last 2 years? Especially anywhere near this price point? Two years is an eternity in the tech industry. The VITURE Beast do have some of the items you are alluding to, but those don't change much for watching video or playing game but are 4x the money. So hardly (IMO) worth comparing side by side. Not to mention, lets pretend we wait until 2028 to buy those as used / reburbs, won't you be saying the same "Over the next few years" at that point to? When does it end? The tech industry ain't ever going to stop making incremental changes, if you are waiting for it to plateau you might as well find a new hobby because that day is not going to come within our lifetimes unless they drop the bomb and send us back to the stone age. Speaking of stone age tech...they are still making improvements to the wheel and that has existed for tens of thousands of years. I'll just wait a few years to buy a new set of tires for my car because I heard Goodyear is releasing new 'smart tires' (that's real BTW) so my old bald tires better last me until then
P.S. All that being said, if there is a feature you are truly waiting on, that might be worth delaying a purchase for, but this never ending wait for just around the corner is like waiting for tomorrow. 'You're always A day Away!' -Annie

The latest models from Viture (not to mention other brands) have a wider FOV and better stabilization, I know that for sure.
