To earn the rebate you must make an eligible purchase at ebay. Offer can only be used one time per customer. Rate subject to change. The spend requirement must be met in a single transaction, on non-excluded items, after discounts, store credits, and redemption dollars are applied, and before taxes, shipping costs, and fees are applied. Not eligible for the purchase of gift cards, Best Offer purchases, bullion or on unpaid items with ebay. Only eligible for legitimate Winning Bid or "Buy It Now" transactions. To earn the rebate, you must be a Capital One cardholder or bank account holder, and logged in to your account on capitalone.com or the Capital One Mobile app.

How to receive the payout

We will attempt to issue the payout as rewards to your Discover it account ending in ####. Payouts are usually issued within 45 days of an eligible purchase but may take longer in some cases. Your account must be open and in good standing at the time we attempt to award the payout. In the event you have more than one account, we may apply the payout to any active credit card or bank account that is open and in good standing. This offer is valid for your use only and cannot be used to buy and resell goods or services to other persons or third parties.

What is a qualifying online purchase?

To make a qualifying online purchase, you must click the button below, and then complete a purchase at the selected merchant's site, in the window opened by the Capital One Offers tile, within 24 hours. If an offer specifically lists an available coupon on this page, you may use it on the merchant's site, subject to any coupon-related conditions that we display, but you must do so within 24 hours of activating the offer and during the same open browser session triggered by your offer activation. Use of any other coupons, cash back, or promotional websites after selecting an offer and before making a purchase will invalidate your offer. Use of VPNs and ad blockers may also invalidate your offer. Online purchases made on websites without first being redirected by a Capital One Offers tile are not qualifying online purchases.

How is the payout calculated?

The payout for qualifying online purchases is calculated using the subtotal amount of your eligible purchase, which is calculated after any eligible coupons are applied, and excludes taxes, shipping, credits, and other fees. A payout earned through this offer is in addition to any rewards regularly earned with your card. If you return or cancel an otherwise qualifying purchase, you are not eligible for a payout. Payouts for subscription services are only awarded to new customers in their first billing period after the merchant has confirmed your payment has processed. Payouts are not available on trial memberships, unless otherwise stated.

Read the complete Capital One Offers terms and conditions.

Disclaimers

By clicking the button below you are agreeing to leave the capitaloneoffers.com website or the Capital One Mobile app and to be redirected to the selected merchant's website. Capital One is not responsible for the terms and content or the privacy and security policies of other websites and mobile applications. If you have selected Spanish as your preferred language experience in your Capital One online preferences, we cannot guarantee that the third party site to which you are being directed will offer a Spanish experience.

Payouts are usually issued within 45 days of an eligible purchase but may take longer in some cases.

Is there any disadvantage to moving my Discover card over to the CapitalOne portal? This is the first I've heard of this. I do hope the Cap1 app is as nice as the Discover app is.

You have no choice. One day you will try to login to Discover and they won't allow it. Happened last week to me.

Moving is not optional, it's gradual rollout for all discover users, since discover was acquired. I still haven't received any notification to switch though

Just my 2cents when you redeem these offers. If possible use same credit for full purchases and keep all the screenshot and reference id's. Cause you gotta deal with capital one customer care.

This is only a one time use. I had it shown for numerous stores, but after using it once the offer disappeared from the rest.

FWIW I have the Venture card and used the CapitalOne rewards portal for 3-4 years now and it is sus. Many times reaching the spend limit and not getting the reward. Read somewhere contacting customer service sometimes help but needs to be after 60 days or so.

Never had an issue with Chase rewards portal, which records the spend on account rather than use links, so I can only assume the CapOne reward links are just messed up.

This sounds like the Capital One offers from their "Shopping" app. If you already have "Shopping", the deals show up in your regular Capital One app. If you don't already have "Shopping", the deals still show up in your regular Capital One app as bait to try the "Shopping" app.

If this IS sending you to "Shopping" app...

Shopping app is "interesting". Fine print to get offers can be super restrictive, but I've still gotten a few that I know I failed the fine print. "CardCash" (site) deals NEVER pay off unless you complain to support. Most shopping deals start at 0.5% or 1% and you have to "tease" them for days or weeks until they increase to something slightly worthwhile. The featured/email deals can be as high as 100% (usually $20 max though). Others can be 50% if you are lucky, but you only get 1, and they never explain when that renews, if ever. They also have "types" of deals and it's really unclear which type each deal is, and you only get 1 each, and again, no explanation of when/if that refreshes. Best suggestion is to use 1 offer, wait until payout (30+ days), THEN you can start believing their current offers are valid again. And DO NOT use gift cards on purchases if you want the offers. Offers only apply no non-giftcard payments. In my experience, all rewards are paid out via "Shopping" app credit that converts to gift card, but only 20-30 stores are offered for the gift cards. Out of those I found -one- I would use. I suspect the rewards expire if not converted to gift card, because they never tell you when they arrive. You have to check the Shopping app (top of main screen). Yet more advice, Shopping app is offered as standalone app or browser extension. I wouldn't even consider extension. If ANY changes occur with their extension, including on/off, install/uninstall, or another extension being activated, you lose the payouts. Likewise, the app has tricks too. You need to "use" the app minimum 1 time a week until rewards arrive, or you lose payouts. Some rewards take 120+ days. There are referral codes floating around that offer $80, but be prepared for that 120+ day wait and to use the app 1x/week that whole time. Don't count on getting lucky.
