This bundle is mainly useful as a cheap way to harvest Tracfone service, since the Galaxy A03 is very slow, stuck on Android 11, and best suited to calls, texts, or backup use. The strongest reports say each phone can carry a 1 year plan with 1500 minutes, texts, and 1.5 GB data, and that the balances can be transferred or stacked onto an existing line. The main caveat is that activation is inconsistent, with some orders arriving without the plan attached and requiring seller or Tracfone support to fix it. The phones also arrive in plain white boxes, so this feels more like service value than a polished handset deal.
People extending an existing TracFone line, because the bundled service can stack onto current minutes, texts, data, and service days.
People harvesting service onto another TracFone or BYOP phone, because the plan can be transferred and combined with existing balances.
Shoppers willing to troubleshoot activation, because the included plan can sometimes be added after contacting TracFone or the seller with the IMEI.
Buyers who want a basic backup phone for calls and texts, because the A03 is slow and laggy with apps but still works for simple voice and texting.
Buyers expecting both phones to include the advertised service, because several orders arrived with no plan on one or both devices.
People who need a reliable self-serve activation, because the website can fail and some activations require chat, IVR, or seller intervention.
Shoppers who need the phones to unlock quickly for resale or carrier switching, because the unlock clock requires a full year of active service.
People wanting a fast everyday smartphone, because the A03 is very slow, apps lag, and basic actions can take seconds to respond.

With their latest UI on their website, I am not able to find a way to transfer the old number back to the old phone (after harvested). I've been having to call TracFone directly. Although that still works, their customer service is slower than molasses. Has anyone found a way to go through this last step on their own?

When I say it's useful for unlock, I mean that sometimes you'll see a higher end device locked to TF being sold for cheap, and the $60 plan can be used to unlock it in a year if you're willing to wait that long.

Have used this site in the past to sell a couple of old Motorola phones that no one else would take.

if that's true, then i'm out on tracfone. not worth dealing with support.
