Make sure you join rewards on tracfone and enter a referral code from a "seasoned" member. I have not paid a penny in over 5 years using the rewards / referral program. Wink
how many points for each of both parties if one is a "seasoned" member now? I havent paid a penny for years since the initial purchase, always used the points earned, first time consider buying sth to extend the services.

Unless there's an upgrade, deals like this is to extend an existing TracFone for another year for cheap (aka harvesting).

With their latest UI on their website, I am not able to find a way to transfer the old number back to the old phone (after harvested). I've been having to call TracFone directly. Although that still works, their customer service is slower than molasses. Has anyone found a way to go through this last step on their own?

32GB in 2026? This must be a joke that has gone wrong...
It's $25. Just lower your expectation. I bought many TracFones for people only make phone calls. No need Internet and text.

To move back to the old phone, just log in and go to activate and select "bring your own phone", then keep your number. You number will be in the drop down box. I'm not sure where you are getting hung up. I've done this a couple of times a couple of months ago.

Wondering if you can take the SIM out and use it in another device, or is the SIM locked to the phone? I know the phone is network locked, but this is actually apples & oranges here. (IE: It's another issue all-together.)

I suppose the $60 plan is good to unlock, but here you get 2X the plan for less money, so doesn't seem like a good idea. You could transfer both plans in this deal over to whichever phone you want to unlock and get 3000 text and mins for $50, not sure why you wouldn't just do that over the $60 plan (except for the ease of application).
I don't think it works like that. The plan is tied to the specific IMEI, in this case the A03. You must activate that IMEI even if you later transfer the service to another locked TF phone. If you just transfer service and do not actually do paid activation, this doesn't meet the eligibility for unlock. I know this because this was a change they made back in 2025 while the unlock period was only 2 months. I transferred service from phone A to phone B and the unlock did not happen on B, but A did since the plan was paid for on A.

When I say it's useful for unlock, I mean that sometimes you'll see a higher end device locked to TF being sold for cheap, and the $60 plan can be used to unlock it in a year if you're willing to wait that long.

AWESOME!!!Been a Tracphone user for over 10 years with good service every where. Did this last month with Walmart $50 deal but only one phone (I gave the phone to a 7 year old so she now has a cellphone to make 911 calls and not sure of any other non connected use) . I just call Tracphone (Now owned by Verizon)and give them code numbers in box and they add minutes to my plan now paid thru June 2028. I use mostly at home on Bluetooth internet so I have a cazillion minutes from adding 1500 minutes every year. I do some apps with the phone but prefer my home computers for most of my putering like this post..

so Walmart sells TracFone with a plan card? I've bought from QVC and TracFone before, the IMEI is automatically tied to 1 year plan, no way to use the 1-year plan to activate a different phone to start with.

Note that tronicspaydotcom [tronicspay.com] will give you $9 for these locked to Verizon. Not sure whether they would take a TracFone device, but TracFone is technically part of Verizon and uses Verizon service, so it's worth a try.

Have used this site in the past to sell a couple of old Motorola phones that no one else would take.

Anyone who has ordered one of these bundles? Which delivery company do they use for delivery? USPS or UPS?

i haven't done the harvest thing in about 6 months. are you saying that the old method of activating new phone, keeping old number, and then reactivating the old phone, keeping that number no longer works on the website?

if that's true, then i'm out on tracfone. not worth dealing with support.
