Community Reviews
This bundle is mainly useful as cheap Tracfone service and a possible harvest source, not as a daily phone. The A03 is very slow, runs old Android 11, and is best kept for calls, texts, or transferring the included year of service and 1,500 minutes, texts, and data to another line. Activation can be finicky, with some orders missing the plan or needing seller or Tracfone support to attach it. The safest takeaway is that the service value is the draw, while the phones themselves are dated and limited.
Common Questions (4)
Yes. Activating the phone as a transfer to your existing number can add the bundle's service time and units to that line, and many reports say the balances stack after the system finishes processing. Some transfers update immediately, while others take a few days or need seller support to push the plan through.
The listing has been reported both ways, but the strongest confirmations say each phone includes its own 1-year plan with 1,500 minutes/texts/data. Some buyers received both phones with service, while others found only one phone had a plan or none did and had to return the order.
They are very slow and outdated, with Android 11 and no recent updates, so they are poor daily drivers. They can still work for basic calls, texts, or a stripped-down single-app use case, but apps may lag and many newer apps may not install.
The phone generally needs 1 year of active service on that specific IMEI to qualify for unlocking. If you transfer the service away before the year is completed, it may not unlock, so this deal is better treated as a cheap service bundle than as an unlockable phone.

With their latest UI on their website, I am not able to find a way to transfer the old number back to the old phone (after harvested). I've been having to call TracFone directly. Although that still works, their customer service is slower than molasses. Has anyone found a way to go through this last step on their own?

When I say it's useful for unlock, I mean that sometimes you'll see a higher end device locked to TF being sold for cheap, and the $60 plan can be used to unlock it in a year if you're willing to wait that long.

Have used this site in the past to sell a couple of old Motorola phones that no one else would take.

if that's true, then i'm out on tracfone. not worth dealing with support.
