Your total Nintendo eShop balance can be $800.
That $250 stated figure is outdated.

Thanks for point this out. I was going to question that since I've seen multiple people comment on using the discounted cards to buy a Switch 2, and they're definitely not going for less than $250.

Yikes, came to ask the exact same questions. My plan is to buy $500 worth (like the Costco & Sam's posts from months back) & buy a switch2 for my kid's birthday. But the "Total balance can NOT exceed $250" & "Only redeemable ...on Nintendo eShop and other Nintendo shopping services to purchase games and other content" don't limit my ability to execute that plan do they?

i.e. neither statement should limit my account balance or prevent me from buying hardware (vs 'games & other content')... right??

Your Nintendo account balance can go up to $800 now; you have nothing to worry about.Like you said, others used it to buy the NS2 during the recent Sam's Club gift card deal.

Nope, they closed that loophole fairly quickly after people peppered them for a bunch of GC orders. Why they give a crap is beyond me.

I just bought a Switch 2 choose your game bundle from the Sam's Club deal for $435 total (taxes). Can confirm everything worked. Added $500 in eshop to my account, paid only using eshop funds (I had some remaining from a past gift card), received my new Switch 2 two days later. So much misinformation spread online about Nintendo and the Switch by people who don't own it yet insist on posting in every thread. Frustrating having to fact check the misinformation, and I nearly didn't do the deal because of it. Glad I did though.

Used this to order my switch 2. Bought $600 of credit for $520. Ordered the game bundle console and have $100 of shop credit left. Probably the best deal I was going to get before the price hike next month.

Expired? Discount is not automatically applying when adding to cart and I get an error saying the promo code is expired when I try it manually

Do you have experience with those sites?

Can't find anything online about them. The fact that they have this as a regular discount also seems weird if not suspicious.

I'd trust newegg over this.
