Wow, I was eyeing this exact plan for when my yearly plan with Visible is up in December. I wonder if they will run another promo then. Hopefully they do, because $20 per month for 5 years is crazy. I can deal with the worse CS, since I am only porting my plan.

Will this work to port out 4 phones from ATT to TotalWiress, all in the same account?

EDIT: It will not work on 4 phones/same account. It says limited to one offer per account, but their multi-line pricing is pretty good as you can get their best ALL ACCESS plan for 4 lines with Disney+ for $115. Better than the $225 I'm paying on ATT now.

One downside -- they do not offer ANY watch data plans.

Apart from being cheaper, how is this deal better or worse than US Mobile's plan on WARP (Verizon)?
This Total plan has unlimited priority data data, US Mobile WARP only has priority data on Unlimited Premium (unless you are grandfathered in from when Starter had it). Total has unlimited hotspot at 5mbps; US Mobile Premium hotspot is 100gb full speed, 100gb 8mbps, unl 600kbps. Both include taxes. US Mobile WARP includes smartwatch data.

Slightly different offerings. Total is fine if you don't need hotspot faster than 5mbps (which is honestly very slow, barely supports one youtube stream) and prefer to pay monthly. One benefit of paying monthly is being able to take advantage of credits card statement credit offers from chase that give you $5 back per month. Other card and banks offer these from time to time.

Visible +pro annual plan for $225 has the same unlimited priority data, but also gives you unlimited hotspot at 15 mbps, a drastic improvement. Also, Apple Watch line is also included. It also works out to be a bit cheaper per month roughly $18.75 instead of the $20/month for total.

Visible also has a 25% statement credit off with some chase cards, with a max discount of $15. If you stack that with a $20 referral code from a current customer, you can get a $35 off the annual plan so it'll only be $190 for the year, or just under $16/month net.

Hard to beat that unless verizon is really bad around you.

No. New accounts only. You have to port out and back in.
Don't think you can do that.
Total Wireless considers a new customer to be someone who has not previously activated a Total Wireless or Total by Verizon service within the last 90 days

The international roaming in Visible+ Pro is very limited (2 GB, and up to 24 days). Total is 10 GB, no strict number of days.

I'm having a hard time signing up, not for this deal plan but for the TOTAL ALL ACCESS. Every time I go through the steps and say I want to keep my number, when it comes to choosing the plan, the only choice is THIS DEAL plan (MAX 5G BYO). Well, I don't want that plan because I will be porting over 4 lines.

Any ideas what to do other than go to a Total Wireless store?

You're right but their systems don't check.

But still you don't want to port out, and then port back in just to try it.
Total has a history of taking away people's promotional discounts.
I was with Total since Oct 2024, they jacked up my monthly payment at least 3 times, I called them numerous times but no one able to get the promo back for me. I always have to file BBB or FCC complaints in order for them to honor it.

Any insight on how long this promo will run for? I'm still on my free year with Spectrum Mobile which ends in a month or two

I switched from Visible to Total Wireless on their $25 dollar plan.

I had no problems except when I wanted to add a second line. If you want a second line, you have to pay the regular 50something for the first and then I believe 30 for the additional line. Of course customer service said I could add a second line for 30 bucks while on the 25 dollar plan, but after buying the phone and after trying to activate, they informed me that they would have to "upgrade" my plan to the 50something + $30 for the second line. Thankfully the phone I got from them was able to be used on Tracfone on an existing line I have with them so it was not a total loss.

HOWEVER, if you just want one line - they seem great. Hotspot worked during a recent internet outage to stream on one TV (would not do two). One thing I really like about Total Wireless is the NXTPAPER 10 Tablet the can be added to the 25 dollar plan for 10 bucks a month (I think I had to sign up for the 20 dollar plan when getting a discount on the device, but it let me change it to the 10 dollar plan for the following month). So the long and short of it is that I got a phone and tablet plan for a grand total of $35 bucks combined, which beats anyone else if you are in the market for a tablet.

  • Total is great if you want to "set-it and forget-it" (for up to 5 years). $20 is hard to beat.
  • Visible offering Apple Watch is a huge differentiator if you value that connectivity.
  • Correction: Visible+ Pro Global Passes are 2GB per day for up to 24 days, not 2GB total for the trip. Compared to 10GB for Total for the billing period. Realistically, both will be plenty for most people.
  • International calling from the US is decent on both, but different. Visible is up to 500 minutes per month to their ~85 covered countries. Total has 200+ countries covered however each country is different: some allow Mobile-only, some are Landline-only, and some allow both.

It does qualify for the $15/mo off of Verizon home internet discount. So if you have FiOS internet, that's another $15 in potential value.

https://www.totalwireless.com/m/b...e-internet

The chat bot also says you can have multiple adults from the same household hold their own account and payment method in order to qualify for multiple $20/mo deals. So if you need multiple lines, albeit less convenient, it's a way to get the maximum possible discount.
