I read the fine print. The 5 year price guarantee is for the full price ($30), not for the discounted price ($20).

Slightly different offerings. Total is fine if you don't need hotspot faster than 5mbps (which is honestly very slow, barely supports one youtube stream) and prefer to pay monthly. One benefit of paying monthly is being able to take advantage of credits card statement credit offers from chase that give you $5 back per month. Other card and banks offer these from time to time.

Visible +pro annual plan for $225 has the same unlimited priority data, but also gives you unlimited hotspot at 15 mbps, a drastic improvement. Also, Apple Watch line is also included. It also works out to be a bit cheaper per month roughly $18.75 instead of the $20/month for total.

Visible also has a 25% statement credit off with some chase cards, with a max discount of $15. If you stack that with a $20 referral code from a current customer, you can get a $35 off the annual plan so it'll only be $190 for the year, or just under $16/month net.

Hard to beat that unless verizon is really bad around you.

Total wireless is a complete crap show. They messed up so many people's byebye promo. Worst customer service also. Down the line they will mess up the plan and it will be difficult to get it back.

They guarantee the base price, not the price after offers/discounts. It's in the fine print. This $20 is receiving an offer/discount that we don't know for how long it will be valid.

That's not accurate.

I participated in that particular Visible promo; it was not priority data, and did not include international roaming.

I have that $15 deal from visible and it's not as good as the total wireless $20 byod. It's faster and no more loading while watching YouTube. Sometimes it doesn't even load at all. Lol
Im so happy to pay $5 more for a better experience.

Please don't do it. They changed the price just two days after I started the service. The autopay started at $20, then it automatically increased to $25 the next day, and later went up to $40. The customer service is also really bad, just like others have mentioned. I ended up porting out and decided to just write off the loss.

Just got 2 lines on the same account.

Opted for physical Sims for the peace of mind that this 5 year price lock is applied to the physical sim, so it doesn't get removed by Total Wireless "customer service" on the back end, as recommended by AI.

Left AT&T in November and haven't had any problems until last week. Did all my transfering at the physical stores though including returning to AT&T store to unlock the phone. I can no longer make calls for one week now. Customer Service has been unhelpful.
