Never had visible, I'm pretty happy with US mobile
Basically, the cool thing about US Mobile is that you can choose between Verizon, T-Mobile, or AT&T. And if you're on one network and want to switch, you can actually switch carriers in the middle of your plan without having to wait for the plan to end. You just pay once for your plan, and you can change the network if you need to. That flexibility is a pretty big deal.

I'm in Broward/ Dade. I have Visible and Mint. Visible is by far the better service for me. Only place I get drop outs in coverage is some spots in far west Miramar and Weston, but Mint also drops there.

Isn't the Mint deal for $180 better than this?
Yes, if you do not need the included watch plan.

I was going to do that. I left spectrum for one day. I did exactly that with visible. It would work but I'm glad that spectrum called me up the next day and offered me basically anything I wanted to come back to them. So for me I found it's worth using visible for just a day or two anyway as leverage on a better cable and phone bill. But I recommend visible to anyone who asks what I think is the a good phone service. So anyone who's thinking about doing that you got to get the unlimited type service plan because you burn gigs fast watching movies.
I also have Spectrum for free for the past year, about to expire in 2 months. What deal did they call you back for and how much did you end up paying for Spectrum Mobile?

Great deal if you don't need customer service, but a nightmare if anything goes wrong. They have zero phone support—you have to do everything through online chat, and the chat reps don't even have a test phone line to help troubleshoot basic features.I switched from T-Mobile and it worked fine for 6 months until MMS stopped working (group texts, photos). I spent hours on chat going through basic troubleshooting (SIM pull, network reset) before getting escalated to Tier 2, who prematurely marked it "resolved." When I had to restart the chat process, Tier 2 told me to factory reset my phone as a guaranteed fix.Instead of wiping my device, I ported out. The moment my new carrier activated, over 100 stuck MMS messages flooded in, proving it was a Visible provisioning issue all along and a factory reset would have accomplished nothing.Bottom line: Cheap and great when it works, but support is abysmal. Look at US Mobile if you want cheap prepaid without the headaches.
This was my experience with Visible too. Hours and days trying to port over a few numbers from Tmobile Postpaid. No phone support so they mess around with you over chat, over and over, days and days. At one point I recall someone did call me from their end but still they were completely incompetent at doing three simple port/activations. I've had cellular service nearly 30 years now and Visible was the absolute worst- even worse than Sprint Postpaid in their early days when I had several phones with them. At some point their customer service "help" basically told me I would have to change all my numbers and even hardware for them to activate the phones! Absolutely ridiculous, this was a simple port in, should be routine and I'm still considering a complaint to the FCC over it since their games cost me another $100 cycle on Tmobile. I realized Visible is hopeless, looked at options and found US Mobile- which actually saved me a ton of money not only over TMobile but even worked out cheaper than Visible and I have Verizon service. And a watch plan included. US Mobile has actual phone support, and it blows me away that they have always picked up in 3 minutes or less. They are literally the most patient and helpful cellular CSRs I've ever dealt with, extremely well trained, and everything got transferred over great and has been solid for 7 months. Even changed over free from ATT to Verizon carrier on them, it was free (on my plan) and the CSR walked me through it perfectly and it was swapped automatically within maybe 10 minutes. After the initial one year promo I'll see if they have a similar offer they can keep me on, or I'll port out and back in, but I see no reason to leave so far. The only thing "good" about Visible in my opinion is that Visible is so bad that it forced me to find an alternative and US Mobile wins hands down over those crooks.

How is the coverage with us mobile. Is it as good as visible. Is it stand alone 5g and is that really better ?
Can't compare because Visible was incompetent at porting me in, but I can say US Mobile AT&T and Verizon service has been solid and fast where I'm at.

Mint Mobile added a $25 recovery fee and some local taxes so I think it comes close to Vsble's $225 plan.

Per Gemini:

Mint Mobile: Operates on the T-Mobile network. High-speed data is prioritized until you hit 50GB, after which your speeds can be deprioritized during network congestion.

Visible+ Pro: Operates on Verizon's 5G Ultra Wideband & LTE network. It provides true unlimited, unthrottled premium data (QCI 8 priority) without a hard high-speed cap.

Mobile: Hotspot is capped at 20GB/month out of your overall data allotment. Smartwatches are not supported on standalone cellular plans.

Visible+ Pro: Includes unlimited mobile hotspot at 15Mbps speeds and includes smartwatch cellular service at $0 extra per month.

Mint Mobile: Video streaming is restricted to SD (480p).Visible+ Pro: Supports up to 4K UHD video streaming, free international calling to 85+ countries, and 24 international Global Pass days included per year.

Was able to port my number from to Vsble. It was not flawless process though. My number ported over ok, but I was not provided with an esim. Maybe it takes time to generate? I don't know. I know when I had new lines with mint mobile, porting the number over to mint and getting an esim was immediate.

Customer service was in the form of "chat" only and after 15-20 minutes my case was escalated to a higher tier. 10 minutes later Vsble did something on their end which allowed me to finish activating via the vsble app and complete the esim process.

A bit of a hiccup and annoying you can't call in, but I'm paying less than $20 a month for a line compared to paying $65 with ATT.

Less than $20 a month this is really slick for Verizon's unlimited premium QCI 8 data. Plus smart watch data plan for free! I have a lot of friends already with Visible by Verizon and they are all happy with their service.

I'm jumping on this deal to get away from the US mobile deprioritized unlimited starter plan that I recently switched to . I did a year on infimobile Verizon network before that and the speeds were so much better than US mobile. Tech support at US Mobile would tell me that my data is working great when I'm getting around 20 Mbps down lol
