Two exceptions I'll make for spending extra and trying to find the perfect one; bed and shoes... 1/3rd of your life spent sleeping, and a very large portion of life in shoes walking.

Agreed. I also add Tires to this category.

Shoes and Tires are the only items in contact with the road when we are in motion. Dont skimp on those.

while these shoes are waterproof, you need to keep them away from water unless you enjoy hearing them squeak. I had the waterproof cloud 5's and the squeak when they got wet made them very aggravating.

Yep. I have the grey ones of this same version, and the squeaking is so bad. And that's a shame, because they're very comfortable and absolutely are waterproof.
