This Anker 20,000mAh power bank is best understood as a basic, high capacity backup for normal speed phone charging and low drain gear. The 15W output can still fit many phones that top out around 25W to 27W, and it is handy for overnight charging of flashlights, headlamps, and GPS units. The digital gauge is a useful extra. The main drawbacks are the slow 15W charging, the multi hour recharge time, and the missing Wh and weight specs. At $26.99, the value feels better only if fast charging is not a priority.

  • The power bank can work well for normal-speed charging when higher capacity matters more than fast charging.

  • The 15W output may match some phones' maximum charging rates, such as Galaxy S24 models.

  • The deal may be improved by an optional 10% coupon, which can improve overall value.

  • The power bank can be useful for phone charging when PPS support limits higher wattage on Samsung and Pixel devices.

  • The listing does not provide Wh capacity or weight details, which makes it harder to judge the battery and portability.

  • The 15W charging speed can feel very slow in practice, especially for a 20,000mAh power bank.

  • Recharging the power bank itself can take multiple hours, including around 4-5 hours.

  • The 15W output may not be sufficient for reliable backup power needs beyond phone charging.

Before you go poo-pooing the 15W charge spec. Check your phone's max charge rate. If you have a Galaxy S24 your max charge is 25W, unless its an Ultra or 24+, then its 45W. Most phones are 27W.
The problem is also charging back the power bank. It takes multiple hours. Likely 4 or 5 hours.

What I found says 2-5 hours to replenish this unit.

Yikes.

$26.99 and ymmv on a 10% coupon on top. 45W output and 20,000mAh. Recharges at 40W max depending on power source.

Been listed here before. Think it made FP but can't remember the price back then. Regardless, better value than the Anker IMO.

I have a few and they've been rock solid over 7 months.

I would just rather buy a 20000 mah power bank from a reputable brand for just $5 more. It's always better to have the capability to charge fast.
Anker isn't a reputable brand?

If you understand his writing, you wouldn't have this question.

Any way, Anker sells a piece of 10-year-old tech at the current inflated price. At $27, we ought to get 45W fast charge - in and out. In may 2025, I bought a "I" brand 20,000mAh power bank for less than $20 including tax. It charges at 45W and re-charge itself at 27W. In the summer 2026, I don't see why anyone would buy a 15W power bank for $27. You paid more to get less.

It's a portable charger... does it matter?
Only you need to charge laptops and handheld gaming consoles. if a power bank doesn't support PPS most it'll only do 15w max anyways on samsung and pixel phones. For the price its good if you are only using it for your phone. I bought the 24000mah anker for 35 two months ago so this is a really good price.
