The standard physical sim card they ship is Warp Verizon, Darkstar ATT. If you want a physical T Mo Light Speed Sim request it right after placing the order through chat otherwise you'll wait another week to get it.
Why would you not use eSIM this day and age.

I've had USMobile since January and have been very happy with it
I've had USM for a couple of years now. In the beginning I would lose connection occasionally and had to reboot my iPhone every month or so to reconnect. That issue has long since disappeared and the service is pretty flawless on the Verizon network. Paying $6/mo for unlimited talk/text + 1GB data ($72/yr) and couldn't be happier with that deal and the great service. My low data plan isn't for everyone, but it's a good fit for me as I'm usually on a WiFi connection.

FWIW I switched from Minto mobile to US last year during a BOGO offer.

Noticed zero changes, I'm not a power user, but do commute on a train for work.

I'm blown away at people still on the majors paying $75-$100 per month

Esim is awesome but not everyone has an esim compatible phone. Highly recommend esim tho especially when going abroad and purchasing international data.

Chat with their support on Reddit they give existing customers renewal discounts so you can get that down to like 210 or so.Or just switch to visible they have + pro annual for 225 right now which is way better than USMobile starter.
I tried comparing the 2, besides unlimited hotspot, they look the same...

Most of the people I know that stick with the majors is because of the phone "deals", and multi person plans.

I would guess it would be just the unlimited starter without the multi network add on, for most use cases.

It's best with these MVNOs to start with what you need and then pay more if you have a specific need, researching around to see what's the best buy. If you don't really know, maybe start with pure prepaid (I.e. monthly) plans and bounce around. There are always promo deals, including annual promo deals.
