Community Reviews
Apple's trade-in promo is making newer iPhone upgrades more attractive, with top credits like $720 for an iPhone 16 Pro Max and $630 for a 16 Pro, and even older models getting bumps. The credit comes as an Apple gift card or refund after trade-in, and carrier-locked phones and multiple devices are accepted. The main catch is that the value can shift when new iPhones launch, and higher storage does not earn extra credit. It is a cleaner way to offset a new phone if you are comfortable with Apple store credit.

I still use my iPhone 11, so I don't understand what you mean )))
And the regular 17 probably won't get a trade-in value next month, if Apple doesn't announce a base model 18.
I think they would still accept an iPhone 17 as trade-in next month with the release of the 18 series though since it's still considered last generation.
Of course I don't really know and have no insider knowledge - it's just based on observations and opinions

But T-Mobile definitely will take it and make your next iPhone Pro Max $3-4000 over the next 2 years.
Does anyone know if this is accurate regarding the trade in prices and the new iPhone release?
I'm trying to trade in a few locked 16E for a new unlocked iPhone from Apple.
im referencing trade in value
What's left is an iPhone 13 Pro and XR. Given that both have terrible battery health, I won't be able to get anything for them close to what Apple will give me in the form of Apple GC, right?
I've never done this at an Apple store... do we just take the phones and tell them "give me gift cards, pleaseeee"? I'm guessing I'm not obligated to spend the GCs on anything specific (I'll just add them to my Apple account to pay for services).
Thanks!
