A cool thing about the numpad is that it and the smaller keyboard have their sides magnetized so they hook together decently.
Reiterating what's said above: These keyboards feel great, as good as many more expensive models, but with the default switches they are very loud. The "super buttons" are also fun. Nice to smash for a quick mute or play/pause.

They're super quiet, so my wife is a lot happier when we're both working at home, but the lack of clickiness leads to more typing mistakes.

TKL is the way to go. My shoulder pain went away after moving over to compact sizes. Don't miss the numpad at all.
