I bought this last year and it's easy to set up, the lights look great, but the software/app has a lot to be desired. Everyt ime the power goes out it will lose connection to your wifi and the only way to reconnect it is to delete it off the app and set it up like new again. This even happens if I hard set the MAC with a static IP on the wifi router. In the meantime I just leave it off/unplugged until I plan on using it again.

I bought this last year and it's easy to set up, the lights look great, but the software/app has a lot to be desired. Everyt ime the power goes out it will lose connection to your wifi and the only way to reconnect it is to delete it off the app and set it up like new again. This even happens if I hard set the MAC with a static IP on the wifi router. In the meantime I just leave it off/unplugged until I plan on using it again.

Yeah, Govee is the only consumer budget brand that is somewhat reliable. Nanoleaf is just one of a million knock-offs

I havent had them installed for more then a month, but havent had that issue yet...
