I just received this by e-mail from Synchrony Financial which runs PayPal Credit:
"Your exclusive $50 back-to-school offer is here"
"Start the school year off right with $50 back"
"Earn an exclusive $50 statement credit when you spend $150 or more with your PayPal Credit digital line by August 31st. Use it on anything you need to get that A+, from a new tablet to a standing desk."
So check your e-mails. Since it says "Exclusive" I put YMMV in the title. Also, it doesn't say in the e-mail whether it's $150 in a single purchase or cumulative.
Fine print:
Subject to credit approval. In order to qualify for this offer, you must use your PayPal Credit digital line to spend $150 or more from 8/11/2026 through 8/31/2026. For accounts that qualify, a $50 statement credit will post to your account within 2 billing cycles from end of offer period. Only one $50 statement credit can be earned per account. Statement credit cannot be used to satisfy the required monthly payment on your PayPal Credit digital line account and may not be redeemed for cash or cash equivalent. Offer is not transferable. Account must remain open, in good standing, and not become delinquent at the time the statement credit is applied.
This deal is not to be confused with the
similar promo for the PayPal Credit Card, which appears to be a separate offer.
