Bought one last time on sale. Always gets top reviews. It is a very heavy and solid pan and feels great.
The only thing, and its a pretty big deal, is how long the handle is. Maybe great for a restaurant but in a tight kitchen and stored in a tighter still cabinet... not so great.

I have 2 of these 10" pans and they have the best nonstick surface of any nonstick pan I've ever used where I can cook an over easy egg without any oil/butter/fat in the dry pan without it sticking, and it is so nonstick that I don't need a spatula to loosen the edges before flipping it over. I've owned the pans for over 2 years now and I can still cook an over easy egg without any oil/butter/fat but I need a spatula to loosen the edges a bit to get it to slide around and flip it over. The only problem with them is the 2 handle rivets are NOT coated so EVERYTHING sticks to those and it was so annoying that I bought 2 of the better version of this pan with gray handle which has flat rivets that ARE fully coated so those are the best nonstick pans I've ever used, but they cost me $38/ea last year which was worth it for how annoying the bare rivets are on these red handle pans.

Regarding the non-stick coating, it is a material called ECLIPSE by Whitford. It is a 3-coat, internally reinforced PFOA-free formula. The coating contains PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) to make the nonstick material adhere to the aluminum pan, but is free from PFOA, which is a harmful chemical.

If you burn something in this pan it ruins the nonstick coating. But otherwise it works very well.

I've had one about 18 months and it still performs well.

I agree with everything being said here. The handle is too long. Rivets are annoying.
Good non-sticking surface, but you can use only low or medium heat because if you burn anything, it will ruin the material. For a "professional grade," it is very delicate.

I keep buying these because my wife keeps ruining the coating and I throw them out once they get scratched. I've bought them for $29 from Costco and $32 from Amazon so this seems like a good deal.

Keep the heat low and don't use metal instruments!

Got one but not sure how long it'll last. Recently using a WOODEN spatula to make some ground meat, the coating already was looking marred, but not scratched fully- hard to explain. Using it the next day it was still nonstick...so..hopefully lasts

The coating should easily last years of daily use if used correctly. Your wife is either cooking at too high temps or using metal utensils when cooking. Both will damage non-stick coatings.

Why? I see this repeated often as if it is gospel, but when I google it, it says if it flakes, the flakes are inert and pass through you and are not absorbed by the body.

The other issue is fumes but just don't put it in the over at 500 degrees is all.

It seems to me this Teflon thing is not really a thing, but folks like to act like they know something.

Do you have links or anything whatsoever, or are you just repeating what you heard from someone else?

A bad reputation is hard to shake. Some people are just never going to accept regular nonstick.
