The slots don't match up between GW & Kobalt, which prevent them from being used cross platform out-of the-box. But you can widen the rails on it using different methods (a dremel, table saw). I have printed 3D cases a couple times and just swapped the internals, so I can use across both brands.
I actually just got this yesterday and used it today. You could definitely tell it was used, especially on the bottom but it was cleaned up well. Also to note, the description says it doesn't come with a shoulder strap but mine had a brand new one included. The trimmer itself worked amazingly well. I was coming from a 40v non-bump trimmer, which sucked something awful. This bump trimmer worked flawlessly and really cut down my time. I also got the refurbed 80v 21" mower and it was a night and day difference from the 40v 19" one I got off of marketplace last year. I also got the 80v backpack blower with 5Ah battery and charger all barely used from a guy on marketplace for $200. That thing works awesome and is just fun to use.

How long does the battery go for, and how long to charge?
Twenty minutes max at full power with this battery, and sixty minutes to charge for long battery life. Acceptable compromise for a small yard. Most mfrs recommend running the trimmer at full speed. The strings will have excessive flex at low speed, resulting in poor cutting and short string life.
A ten amp electric string trimmer is the sweet spot if you have a big yard. The one horsepower motor comes in around eleven lbs {real world output of 746 Watt) and can cut thru 0.1" trunk. A 100' 14 or 12 AWG cord is not that hard to manage. No battery charging, no mixing fuel, no spark plug, no air filter, and no annual winter prep. My machine is over ten years old. The only maintenance is adding grease to the drive head. Carbon brushes still have sixty percent life.
