LG should be better on than this specific model imo
Sure, but that's apples and oranges in terms of size. I'm still on 77" c1 and have no desire to upgrade. OLEDs are all pretty damn beautiful, and I think a 12" size difference is going to matter to most people a whole lot more than minor spec differences.
If I didn't just buy a super bright TCL QM7k for my living room, I may have considered this. I have a 77" Lg b5 that was also $1000 last year. The QM7K was also $999. I don't have a use for this Samsung unfortunately. I wish I did !

ohhhh mb I only meant the panel and didn't think about screen size lol
Its a downgrade. The S85F is their cheapest model. Vs LG's older (but much brighter) Mid range C3. Now it would have been an upgrade if you had a B3, and bought the same sized 65" S85F, as the 55 and 65 in have the quantum dot panels.

You know this is a TV right? As in pretty much all the oleds are native 120hz. Some might overdrive to 144-165 but you're not feeling a 45hz difference from 120.

I'd like to see a link for when the 77" b5 under $1000… cause I'm doubting it.

No we have to assume this guy games on a $8k rig with NV5090 cards driving it to reach those frame rates at 4K. at the same time eyeballs a budget class OLED. I have a tank of a game rig Ultra9 with a 5080 and my games rarely break 110FPS with all the toys on it 120hz on my 6 year old Hisense U8 looks pretty nice. Besides pc gaming at 165, can you provide another source that utilizes that speed? No streamers, no consoles, not Blu-ray.
