Edit 8/27/2026, Looks like trade-in deal is MOSTLY DEAD. On 8/21 it was revised to no longer accept broken devices, and on 8/27 modified so that older devices only get a $450 credit instead of $900.

Original post: Existing T-Mobile customers can get up to a $900 trade in value on Google Pixel 11 phones. The trade in can include some lower end phones, and works on older calling plans (including Go5G and ONE, but not simple choice)

The correct rebate only showed when I was logged into my T-mobile account. It says it's for "Essentials and select legacy plans". My old T-Mobile ONE plan worked. (edit: others have reported Simple Choice plans don't work, only a $250 rebate)

For a base Google Pixel 11 this would make it basically free. For higher end models it's a $900 discount.

Interestingly, the plan says the credits are split out over 36 months, but the checkout and my actual order confirmation show it's only spread over 24 months.

Yes. When evaluating the trade in phone condition choose the condition that matches your phone (does not turn on) and the value will be the same. This is assuming your account is eligible for this offer

Only $250 for simple choice like most. So far no rate changes across 2 accounts (8 lines each). If the deal was available for simple choice, I'd be hesitant starting another 24 months (got way too many free pixel 10s this year) but would probably be a sucker and do it anyways.

This phone is so lukewarm I kinda expect that they'll eventually expand the deal.

I would tomorrow, if not for 4 new EIP's on the Pixel 10's. Stuck paying either their MSRP payoffs or sticking with my revolving at-whim plan TMO will stick me with next, now at $70/mo more than when the EIP's were initiated. That is what many refer to as 'the trap'. They deliberately allowed old plans that never before qualified for low-cost or On US line equipment upgrades for the Pix 10 deal, only to pull the rug out once we were locked in. They're loosing a ton to churn right now, deservedly.
