Personally, as much as I enjoyed moving to qi charging over wired charging, qi charging still heats up the device by quite a bit. Having owned this one as well, it is no exception. I have moved onto ones that offer a fan and TEC cooling and that was been life changing. Device is cool as ice and it charges equally fast.

I have a few of the WayLite 15w Tec chargers throughout the house and a UGreen one for the car. The Waylite (for a no name) has had absolutely no issues outside of it being the 15w version. If you want more power, you can spend a little bit more for the 25w ones.
