Just waiting to see the complaints from people. It is a 75" TV for 400 bucks. You are not getting the Lexus for this price. You are getting a certified pre-owned Toyota.
If you want a big TV for a basement or even as your main television. There is nothing wrong with this one! 99.9% of people will be thrilled with the performance. That .1% can pound salt.

Toyota owns Lexus. Toyotas can last forever. Your attempt at an analogy didn't work here. Just say, this is a bare bones TV just like all the others in this price range. Not good for gaming or movies.
It has a pretty good picture for a 400 tv . Most 400 tvs dont.

I bought this the last time it was on sale. I'm not an expert in video/audio, but to us, the picture is great. The picture is better than the 65" onn Roku TV we had before. The OS may be a little laggy like other reviews mentioned, but no worse than other similar TV OSes. The only issue we have with the TV is that there's no Apple Music app. Other than that, it works great, and we're very happy with it, especially at this price.

Not "good" for games and movies? It's about managing expectations, this TV will be plenty good for A LOT of people watching movies and playing games. That's why you can't just say "good", but you can't expect a Lexus for Toyota money even though many would be happy with a Toyota.

How does this compare to the q77k at Costco. Rtings doesn't rate the q77k well, so wondering if this one might be similar, but at a slight lower price. Looking for a budget tv for the kids. How about the 400 dollar Pioneer?

You mean it has worse blacks than a $4000 OLED? Hmm not really a deal then. /s

I must disagree with you! Salt is too valuable and we use it daily. It would be better if they pound SAND!

Lot worse. Only plus is it's a Google os tv. 2 year old model, pretty basic tv.

U65 Pro is Fire os tv. That seems to be a negative for many. Current TV model, many new modern features, especially for the price.

Really no comparison for someone that can afford the U65.

I know Toyota owns Lexus....could you overthink my post more? If you didn't realize I was just saying this isn't too of the line but you get a decent TV for the price then you are exactly the person who should pound salt (or sand as one of the other posters said).
