This is a good price, on sale at $300, where a 50V+ self-propelled battery mower should be at. I'm surprised when I read some of the poor reviews since it's a Toro with some people saying they're going back to gas. It'll probably sell out by the time I make up my mind anyway.

Bought the 22" 60V earlier this summer & wish I could return it. Mower leaves clumps or trails when bagging all the time. Grass is dry and not too high. Trailing shield constantly gets stuck under mower when backing up and get chopped by the blade. Clippings don't get pushed far enough in the bag. The bag fills up quickly and always seems to have more room. Battery lasted me 2 months and now won't charge. Batteries have a 3yr warranty. Had to take battery to a Toro dealer. They tell me it can take 2 weeks to a month to get a replacement. If you just want a backup battery they're over $300. Stay away.

I don't believe this! One issue after another to dissuade buyers for purchasing a great deal! I bought this 6 years ago at the same price, as a close out at the other big name store. Got an additional 10% with a coupon! This thing has run like a champ! Not one problem. The only thing I have done is change out the blade. You can't say that with a gas mower. It doesn't leave clumps. Bags like a champ and full! The trailing shield only gets caught when you wedge it between a high and low slope, so no, it doesn't get caught when backing up unless you aren't paying attention. My battery is the original and holds a full charge. AND, AND - the battery and charger have a 3 YEAR warranty, which Toro does stand behind! It's a steel deck and well built. Sorry, but I think you're a plant on this item. Don't believe you!

I wash mine, top to bottom. I cut wet grass and dry grass. I maintain it with little lube on the wheels and changing out the blade. NEVER EVER had a problem with rust and it has gotten plenty wet. Not sure why you go through so many, but????

Mower performs like a champ, with or without the bag. Mower is 6 years old. Neighbor has an EGO, all plastic. Wishes he had bought a Toro as he has seen how mine has performed! I don't miss my gas mower one bit!

Still using those lowes clearance Craftsman 60v mower but it's brushed. Wonder if this is more powerful or not.

Love it over gas powered one, extremely low maintenance and like this, vertical storage,

I've had this for three or four years. As a mulcher, is great. I love how it revs up to tackle high grass. 45-60 minutes run time is about right unless it's really high.

Bagger is no good.

Have a similar model. It's a pos, early easily bogged down, cut is poor. I got mine at $150 on clearance. I wouldn't pay anymore than that.

I had a different electric mower brand that took a dump that I needed to take to a dealer and they also tried to upsell me super hard on replacing, also with some 'it'll take weeks' lies. Claimed they couldn't fix it and warranty was denied.
Ended up calling corporate customer service and learned they never even applied for warranty repair, so the corporate help cross-shipped me a new mower and sent a box and shipping label to return the old one, even told me to keep the old batteries to keep from having to ship hazmat. About a month later I had a lawyer letter in the mail asking me to give a written statement over the whole ordeal. TL;DR: dealers are trash.

Humidity here sits 60-90% during the mowing season, might have something to do with it IDK. My first one I didn't have any issues with before it dropped a valve. The one I am on now I painted the underside of the deck and lubed the blade bolt straight out of the box. Surface rust bubbling under the paint after 1 season. By the time I'm done mowing after 75-100 mins (depending on if I trim), I'm not washing the thing every time.
