Switching her from an iPhone 12 128GB on Verizon Prepaid 5GB p/m $25 plan. been wanting to bring her to android for awhile now.

Same. My deal vote reflects the lack of information.
I switched to a S21U back when from an iPhone 7+ and have no regrets, so I am ready to help her make an easy transition as I'm familiar with it. Most annoying part in my opinion is moving cloud photo library, but its not that bad.
Either get it all upfront or don't do it
