Anyone have experience with this brand? Friend is building a PC for teenage son and needs a reliable PSU.

The ad copy on Amazon makes me leery since the photos in this listing are clearly for a 750W PSU but pics are captioned as a 1250W unit and none of the photos list ANY specs as far as power delivery over the various rails, etc. and claiming "Japanese capacitors" without naming the brand? Nichicon/Rubycon/Matsushita are probably only going to come after you for that free advertising if you're counterfeiting their stuff, right?

The longer one star review also describes a bait and switch tactic by the company... I don't know: "Dark flash" just sounds like what happens to your $2000 in other parts when you cheap out on the most important component in a build.

Anyone have one and been running it in a mid to high-mid end system for over a year?

According to what I've read, this PSU generally is a or b tier on most PSU review tier list. You could go with a more reputable brand with less wattage, but if the PC has a higher end graphics card like a 5080 or 5090, this will definitely be able to handle it. Anything lower you can probably get away with a 750 or 1000 w power supply.
