Found one unit at my local Costco sitting with the Hisense portables. There was no price anywhere so I looked on the app, which listed it at $347 and low stock so I grabbed it. Other stores in my area show $489 list price, and now my store has no stock. YMMV, good luck.

The Midea Duo portable air conditioner is being treated as a strong value at $349, especially for its dual hose design and cooling performance. The unit is described as big, but still appealing enough that a renewed one at $300 and this warehouse price both feel worthwhile. The main issue is the heat claim, since the Costco 12,000 BTU version appears to be cooling only and the listing seems to mix in heat pump details from other Midea models. The price also appears to have been near this level for a while in some warehouses, so the deal may be more about availability than a rare markdown.
The dual-hose portable AC can be a strong buy at the listed price if it matches the heat-capable configuration.
The listing confusion may still be resolved by checking the physical unit against the manual or product documentation before purchase.
The warehouse stock at the $349 price reportedly had limited remaining units, which can help shoppers who want to grab one quickly.
The unit is described as a really good portable AC option, and it may be worth repurchasing around ~$349 for buyers who do not already own one.
The 12,000 BTU Costco warehouse configuration reportedly lacks a heat option and appears to be cooling-only.
The product description and photos may incorrectly mention heat, which can lead to buyers receiving a non-heat model.
The heat claim may not apply because the warehouse unit may use a different model number than the heat-capable version.
The unit is described as big, which can make placement and portability less convenient in smaller spaces.

I went to purchase another one earlier this year, and it has been replaced with this12K btu, which did not have a heat option.
Maybe they changed the model within the last 3-4 months ???
Order one and take pics for all us to have the truth!
See attachment. Also this is what AI has to say about it. take it for what it's worth!
The 12,000 BTU Midea portable air conditioner sold at Costco (typically the Midea Duo cooling/dehumidifying/fan model) does not have a heat mode because it is strictly a 3-in-1 cooling unit. Midea makes separate heat-pump versions, but the specific configuration stocked on Costco warehouse pallets is designed only for air conditioning, fan, and dehumidification.

As I mentioned earlier, I would not do the legwork to check and see if the actual unit has heat. Finders keepers.
