77" C5 regularly hits ~$1530 on the LG Partner Store, and is definitely worth the extra money with its much better brightness, color, and processing.

Not sure if there are any workarounds for the Partner Store anymore, but I heard that you could get access with a Hulu subscription or something comparable, if you don't know any educators/gov workers.

You don't have to be an educator or government worker. Just work for a big company and you're good to go.

Not great the c5 goes for 1500 regularly just look for the history here. The b5 can drop below 1k if you wait for the right time of year
