I have an "I" branded power bank with the same design concept. The built-in cable is perfect for charging, but not for carrying. I use it all the time. I'm sure the built-in cable (or cables in this power bank) will last longer than the power cells.

I really wish Amazon would bring back comments on reviewers. Every time you look at a power bank review section, there's always somebody completely misunderstanding how things work. 1 star because their iPhone only charged at 16w and not at 45w.
