Anyone have experience mixing these with other brands? They look like they should lock in fine.

I've tried these with 4 other brands and they did not match up at all. Different connectors and these felt the cheapest compared to others. Marcy brand is my favorite and use to be $20 a set, but they went up a bit.These CAP are comparable to a generic knockoff brand I purchased a while back, but sturdier.
