May be a dumb question, but does anyone know if it's easy enough to cut this in half without compromising its integrity? If so, that's a better price for two one-car garage screens than if I were to buy them individually. Thank you.

Have you checked the temp in your garage in the summer? Mine in So Cal was 129 yesterday. So lately I have been leaving the garage door open considering one wall is common to the house and that room opposite it, has been heating up all day long. This seems a good idea just to keep the garage cool. I can't imagine sitting on a couch in my garage though, because my car is out there! Also this screen my make it cooler for my car and other things in the garage which are heat sensitive, like took batteries, etc.

Reattaching the thick Velcro band on the side that you cut would probably be pretty impractical.Might be easier to just fold it in half.
