They wouldn't touch it, ok, so did they pay you money? Provided a replacement? What happened?
And yes, video texting improved when Apple implemented RCS 2 years ago.
You can FaceTime between the 2, but an iPhone has to initiate the call and send you a link.

my razr+ 2023 is still great, but I will be forced to switch a different phone with security patches ending.
on the other hand, $408 for up to 3 years of use of a good phone is a good deal.
note: don't flip too much unnecessarily, the inner screen protector WILL develop hair line cracks, most repair shops don't replace razr inner screen protectors, but they do for Z Flip!
another note: motorola replacement policy is a big hassle, they want the old phone back for repair (or replacement), which could leave you with no phone to use for a couple weeks.
