Your RTX 5090 Deal Lover is back with another post!
Simply go here https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/pdp...91wjaa-aba- There are no coupon to use for this one but it's actually GREAT DEAL and you cannot customize it.
- There is a labor day specific coupon for GAMERS25 but it does not apply here and not necessary because this price is 35% OFF $7000 MSP!
- Don't forget to stack your CC stuff.
Don't have EPP? It's still a GREAT DEAL for today and the situation we are in.
Compared to the previous Ultra 265K deal these are the following differences for $4560! Fantastic upgrade price if you look at the comparison and if you needed the extra config.
- Windows 11 Pro
- Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 processor 285K (instead of 265K)
- 64 GB memory (instead of 16GB)
- 2 TB SSD storage ( instead of 16GB)
Of course, you still get this - NVIDIA GeForce RTXâ„¢ 5090 GPU
Just note these differences between AMD and Intel variants but keep in mind that AMD Variants this time has no extra discount nor is Ultra 265K config worth it right now. So hop to it if you wanted Ultra 285 for extra productivity workloads and if you needed 64GB and more storage anyway!
Why I like AMD over Intel (Core Ultra 7 265K) on this HP Platform?- Front I/O & Headers: Includes a functional front-panel USB-C port and a dedicated motherboard USB-C header.
- Power Efficiency: Operates at a conservative 65W CPU base power target vs. the 125W power draw on Intel.
- X3D Option for true Gaming edge: If you are a gaming, this is a no brainer to get 9800X3D
- Full Modular 1200W PSU: The Ultra 265K I got had non-modular design and only 12v6 adapter, not the old style 8-pin at all!
- Refreshed Case Design: Uses HP's updated chassis revision with subtle, cleaner front-panel aesthetics.

You should read some of the reviews, one is from October 2025 that Nay-sayers for this deal will mention.

This OMEN 45L is mainly a 5090 value play, with 64GB RAM, a 2TB SSD, and Windows Pro making it stronger for productivity and parts value than for a clean out of box gaming build. The RTX 5090 is the star, and the OEM card is described as mostly metal and comparable to other 5090s. The Intel version is the normal OMEN 45L, not the MAX model, and the RAM is 4x16. Caveats include HP's locked down BIOS, a non modular Intel PSU, and recurring cooling complaints that can require airflow or cooler changes.

Also some MATX case like Lian Li V150V is not really smaller, just a bit shorter but still got large width/and length to support a 360 AIO and PSU in basement. They are just easier to build
the "real MATX" cases like Jonsbo Z20 is a pain in the ass with PSU sizing issues to allow long GPUs and cooling requires a lot more work! I do love this kind the best, it's actually a tight fit.

Lian Li B4 is super hard to put together apparently per the reviews but I want to try one with a 5090.

I am getting the Lian Li V150 this week to shuck another machine. This is a "matx" tower. not real to me but I like the "speaker" look and it was on sale. https://lian-li.com/product/vector-v150inf/
There a few others, I will probably go thru each for experiements!
The price will be substantially higher, but the coupon today has been extended but does not work but you can do the math it's gonna be a lot higher with 1750 extra on the upgrades than before
taking 25% offyou're looking at 1300 more than what it was before potentially, but that's just a very rough estimate

We'll see after 9/12 when coupon ends what is in the store for us.
now the situation requires even more Balls and Capital
I decided to time myself, took me about 4 minutes from grabbing a machine (already out of the box) and take the GPU out and place it on my desk). I wasn't rushing it and all manual. total of 12 screws, 1 pci-e clip, 1 PSU cable to detach. lol
My $3900 benchmark level for getting a 5090 is no more.
We'll have to just check at each coupon cycle to see how bad it will get.
5090 Retail sale has skyrocketed from $3500 to $5000 since April when I started stalking the 5090's. HP held the price for such a long time, I'm grateful!
The new coupon HYPERX25 is only good for these gaming desktops and none has 5090 in it. 5080 at best but who wants that garbage?
Gaming desktops: D9EM8AA#ABA, B73MKAA#ABA, D8KM6AA#ABA, C84P1AA#ABA.
The only one that has a 5090 is the Ultra 285 64GB/2TB and no coupons at $5500 which you saw already. AMD 9900X3D version is $6200 lol
This does not look good when customizable computers 9700X, 9800X3D, Ultra 265/285 base config that had the 5090 options no longer even list it as an option.
I didn't dig around too much with the other coupon FALLDEAL25 , maybe there is some weird combo...
