AIRHAS men's anatomical toe box shoes look like a low drop, barefoot style option best suited to walking, errands, and casual wear rather than serious running. The toe box gets praise for comfort and the elastic knit upper may help the fit, while the shoes have held up well for some wear and feel better than expected for the price. Main caveats are thin cushioning, a fixed tongue that can be awkward on wider feet, and sizing limits with no half sizes and only up to size 13. A practical pick if the fit works for your foot shape.

  • Casual walkers wanting a roomy toe box, because the shoe is described as comfortable for errands and light workouts with a good toe box.

  • Barefoot-style shoe fans wanting low drop and minimal cushioning, because the shoe is built with a barefoot feel and less cushion than max-comfort models.

  • People who swap in their own insoles, because the stock insole is very thin and firmer orthotics can fix foot pain and improve fit.

  • Shoppers with wide feet or hard-to-fit feet, because the fixed tongue can be difficult to get on and the sizing stops at 13 with no half sizes.

  • Runners wanting a true training shoe, because the listing emphasizes walking, casual workouts, and light runs rather than serious running.

  • People needing all-day comfort straight out of the box, because multi-hour wear can cause foot pain with the thin stock insole and sole.

  • Daily wearers who want long-lasting shoes, because the pair was considered fine for casual use but unlikely to hold up long as an everyday shoe.

For the love of everything on this green earth, please don't run in cheap shoes like these. House shoes, maybe shopping at the mall shoes, but if you love your hips and knees, you will never do any impact exercise nor sport in something so cheap.

Its width is similar to Altra's non wide size, but I'm not worried about it because the upper material of this shoe looks like a very elastic knitted material🤔
Thats what I thought too. As a long time Altra user, these look like good knockoffs

Would anyone say these are similar to Nobull shoes? Looking for something to workout in and do light cardio.

How is a "Promoted" item, from a paying Slickdeals Affiliate being posted by non-staff?

Are some "community" members in on posting advertisements? Is that why the post thanks them for "sharing" the deal instead of "finding" it like some others?

We really need better transparency on this site for what sort of behind the scene promotions/payments/"rewards" are happening.

My 2 cents since I have been part of Vine for over 10 years…. There is no incentive at all to give it a positive review. I've given plenty of 1-2 star reviews to vine products when they are shit. Coming from vine you know it's not a bot but an actual person who tried and reviewed this, and no, there are no kick backs or anything.
The no incentive incentivized chat?

Choice of wording like "sharing a deal" or "finding a deal" is whatever the Editor chose to write. It's not tied to any sort of promotion or affiliation of a deal. It's personal preference

natural feel .. does that mean lacking in cushion?

these are shaped like my altras
A barefoot style shoe with a low drop. Not that much cushion compared to a max comfort shoe.

You picked the least important question and ignored the main one.

Are some "community members" coordinating with Slickdeals to post/vote affiliate deals?
Are non-staff accounts being rewarded/compensated for posts?

I'm a deal editor replying to the deal editing part of your question. I have no idea about anything finance or marketing related, sorry

I bought some AirHas in the last promo. With multi-hour use I was getting foot pain, but that's common with a lot of shoes for me. I took out the OEM insole and replaced it with my Orthopedic insoles, that have a slight firm arch, and it fixed my foot pain and the fitment. I also just found a pair of ortho insoles on slickdeals that worked fine; not as good as my other two pairs, but WAY cheaper. So FYI maybe factor that into your pricing for these; the stock sole and insole is very thin.

the company doesn't select vine participants to receive the product, they give amazon a certain number of items to offer via vine and amazon adds them to the vine marketplace where it's first come first served

there is no benefit to fudging reviews; amazon only rates you on percentage of items reviewed, and detail and quality of the reviews

As a former Vine reviewer (having achieved "Gold" status) I disagree.

Vine rewards participants by the volume of their reviews; the quality (or accuracy) of the reviews isn't as important. Keeping up with the required reviews to stay in the program means a lot of reviewers get lazy and generate garbage reviews.

Vine participants start out at Silver status - getting 3 items per day with a value of $100 or less per item. They have to review 60% of the items to remain in the program calculated over a certain period of time (the evaluation period).

Silver level participants who receive 80 items and 90% in the evaluation period qualify for Gold level which allows 8 items per day without any limit on value. In order to stay in Gold reviewers have to receive 100 items and review 90% of them during the evaluation period.

It becomes a lot to select items, use them and write real reviews within the 30 days normally allowed, especially at the Gold level. From my experience it became like a side job that was difficult to keep up with.

Having written legitimate reviews for all the Vine products I received it was clear that many of the reviewers hadn't used or made any real attempt to write a real review. I saw a lot of vague single sentence Vine reviews for items as well and it was clear that Amazon does very little vetting of Vine reviews. I'd go so far to suggest that as long as the Vine reviewers are writing good reviews they get a pass; regardless of the content of the review.

So I'd say there is an implicit advantage to participants to fudge Vine reviews simply to remain in the program and get free items. Especially since there are Vine reviewers who resell their free items at first opportunity.
