I got the 4 for $488. I think the 4p has better zoom, better night mode, and better dynamic range. The normal 4 has better battery life, lighter head, and run a little cooler. Also there is a price difference. I wanted to wait for the 4p, but went for the 4. I need longer battery life and lighter head and cooler running. I could always buy external battery and go slower and record shorter clips.

Bought from this seller. It came with just a plastic envelope so the box is all messed up when it arrived. The product was not affected so i did not bother returning it. Just an FYI for those who expect to receive this in a box bubble wrapped and all. Not.
