Why would one need a retractable cable at only 3ft? Also, seems pricey for this. They are dirt cheap on AliExpress

I'm thinking about getting one like this for my car for faster charging than the wireless pad. But like you, I think this is over priced.

Perfect for my laptop bag. Also good for transfer from my Insta 360 on the go. I'm not buying pure charging cables anymore. Charging+data is the way to go for me.
