Home Depot has it for 522 today only
Lowe's and Sam's club have it for 549
I only mention these because I'm not sure which location has the best overall price after delivery, installation, and haul away.

Update
Sams looks to be the best overall deal 545 agitator version free delivery, free basic installation, free haul away, and 2-year warranty.

So I've heard as well. I think the best rated washers right now are LG?... and speed queen but way higher price point. From what i've read, Dryers are more on the same-ish playing field.

My appliances repair shop said LG and Samsung are non repairable/ disposable. They don't recommend them.

For me it's Maytag/Whirlpool or nothing. And no LCD screens or touch controls. Knobs and buttons, that's it. You can still fix them yourself, even.

I've had nothing but issues with Samsung washer/dryers, and I've had rental homes for 2 decades. No problems with their fridges and ovens though.

At least this doesn't have too many bells and whistles which can fail prematurely.

My Samsung washer has been going strong for 8 years now. I had to replace the suspension rods recently. The whirlpool rods fit it fine.

Agreed. Mine makes a clicking sound everytime we do a heavy load.
Prev. Top loader had a lawsuit that they settled on.

Our original one did the same thing! I thought it was just ours. One bright side, the Geek Squad warranty came in clutch when it stopped working. They came out to repair, said it would be too expensive and arranged to have a brand new one delivered. A relative just bought a Whirlpool washer so we'll see how hers lasts compared to ours since we only got our Samsung replaced a couple months ago.

LG is junk too, they're just better at marketing to influencers and reviewers. An American-made Maytag/Whirlpool, GE, or Speed Queen (as you mentioned) is your best bet. Speed Queen is much more expensive but it will last forever.
