You'll have to keep an eye out for Adorama's sales then...last time they had the 8000F ii on sale was back in January, at $450 each. https://slickdeals.net/f/19107874

It's been too long. I've been waiting for an Adorama 8000f ii, 504cii and sub combo deal.
TBH you would only notice a difference in a side by side comparison, would be minor.
In current turmoil, that's an extra $200, difference isn't worth that much ime.

I think youre going to have to go to the used/open box market. Ive been waiting forever for the RP SA iii atmos speakers to come out and when they did it didnt do much because there isnt a lot of stock left. And they'll definitely be gone by BF. $450 is the lowest they'll get which is crazy when the RP 600 ii's are the same price...

If you need Atmos speakers with similarly high sensitivity like the 8000Fii and horn waveguides (but actually a higher quality compression driver tweeter than the Klipsch titanium dome), these would be a better bet: https://slickdeals.net/f/20029224

they don't charge tax but charge $50 shipping instead.

Yes, most true internet-direct companies do that. SVS and Arendal are some of the few exceptions, because their "free" shipping both ways, is built into their (inflated) pricing.
So when you price shop, be sure to include shipping in your calculations.
