The Galaxy Tab A11+ is a fast, solid 11 inch tablet that stands out for everyday use, media, and travel, especially at the promo price. It feels noticeably quicker than the A9+, supports fast charging, and pairs well with Samsung devices. The tablet can come with either eSIM or physical SIM support, but Metro activation and checkout can be finicky, with browser issues, call in requirements, and account limits that may block extra orders. It is a strong value if you can get through the ordering hurdles and do not need a hassle free setup.

People are over thinking too much. Just don't pay and done. If you want to just keep the voice line just port out the Tablet line. Unless they love talking to customer service.

a lot of ppl on the internet specialize in overcomplicating things

anyways i got some of these on a 20 deal like a year or two ago, i felt like 20 is about what theyre worth lol. crazy watching people pay 199 for them happily. theyre fine.

No funny business on my purchase FYI, 1 phone 1 tablet. BTW, have others called in and what did they say?

I read someone noted that the CS wasnt able to continue and said some glitch lol.

This isn't overthinking, you're underthinking. I'm referring to existing customers that want to keep their existing phone line but cancel the tablet line, you know, who the offer is actually intended for... Porting out the tablet line obviously works, but is extra steps involving yet another company, instead of just calling Metro out on their BS, and having the line cancelled.

Thanks! Yes, that's what I meant..not to pay next month's bill. Plan is to turn off auto pay or delete the payment from the system. So, it will unlock by itself in a year right?
Correct, if you do not pay the next month's bill, all service will stop, cellular and tablet lines, and the tablet is advertised as automatically unlocking after 365 days. You do not have to maintain service for that period.

Am i reading this right with what you are posting that its hard to cancel online by yourself or not an option and you have to call to cancel? Or go to a store?

Will a store give you pushback on canceling the phone and tablet lines? This is prepaid, so what if you dont autopay after the initial payment?

I got the A37 = $45 and a tablet = $20......might try to get 1 more at this price range.

Shahhere
There is no customer facing option online to cancel any service line, you must call to cancel if you want to maintain your other lines. Do not go to a store, they are all authorized retailers, absolutely will give you pushback, lie, etc. They have zero reason not to, no consequences from T-Mobile / Metro. The first rule of Metro is never go to a store.

I just got the tablet. I'm planning to sell the device. Should i sell it as is sealed or activate it and in a months time sell it after avoiding the 2nd month's payment ? What is the safest option ?

I think they have altered the deal (pray they don't alter it further). You need a line open with them for 30+ days to successfully order the tablet. Before 30 days, the site will let you put in card and shipping info and everything, and it will charge and refund your card. It's crazy how messed up and illogical their systems are. Even over the phone their reps seem to have no clue

Bought 3 x A11+ tabs and 1 x A37 in one month's time on a single account opened 30 days ago - iPhone 16e was the starter device ($160) + $20 for each tab's add-on plan and $40 for the A37 add-on. FYI: 5 active devices was/is the limit per account AFAIK. Pretty slick

I ended up porting out the tablet line # to textnow for free (already had a dummy account set up there anyhow)

Dang not having luck here with the A37 phone or A11 tablet as far as being able to use the Tmobile sims I have (I have phone and a tablet sim) as both arent getting picked up due to it being Network locked.

It does work with Metro obviously but want to give this to parents who travel overseas and with the tmobile sim international roaming is free and I guess I have no choice but to keep the phone at least in a drawer for a year.
